Web design in the UAE and Jordan, on any platform
Clayit designs and builds websites from studios in Dubai and Amman, for businesses across the UAE and Jordan. Shopify, Wix Studio, WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace or custom code: we work on the platform your team already runs, or help you choose one, and the site lives on a domain and an account you own.
Leaders Production, a global events producer, on the website we designed and built. Recorded on the live site, leadersproduction.com.
The film scrolls the Leaders Production site from its opening film under the LEADERS wordmark, through Project delivery for live events and the project plates, into the file for UAE National Day 51; on a phone, a still of the site's project plates on a phone screen.
Which platform, and why
The right platform is the one your team can still run in a year.
-
Store builds have their own page: Shopify and e-commerce.
-
A designed layout your team can still change without calling us.
-
Simple to run, with very little to maintain.
-
A blog, a newsroom, or an existing WordPress site worth keeping.
-
And a marketing team will publish to it every week.
-
A booking flow, an unusual layout, or a site that has to load fast on a weak connection.
If you already run one of these, we start there. Moving platforms costs time, and it is only worth it when the current one is in the way.
The same hands draw it and build it
Most websites change hands at the worst moment. A designer passes a file to a developer, and the details that made the design work are the first thing to go. Here the person who draws your homepage also builds it, so the type, the spacing and the pictures reach the live site the way they were drawn.
Drawn at phone size first
Many of your visitors will meet the site on a phone, held in one hand. So the phone version is designed first and has to work there: the menu, the first screen, the button. The laptop layout comes after. Before launch we measure the site in a browser, because anything that cannot be checked is an opinion: load time, contrast, the size of every tap target, and what a search engine can read.
English and Arabic, both designed
On a bilingual site the Arabic is designed alongside the English, not poured into the English layout at the end. Menus, headings and buttons are set to read right to left, with Arabic type chosen for its own shapes.
Search is part of the build
Titles, descriptions, headings, structured data and page speed are set while the site is built, not patched after launch. Clayit also works on SEO and AI search, so the pages are written to be found on Google and quoted when someone asks an assistant like ChatGPT.
Work you can open
Leaders Production runs on a site we designed and built. Twentis got its identity and its storefront here too.

Which platforms do you build on?
Shopify, Wix Studio, WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace and custom code. If your site already runs on one of them, we usually keep it there.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain and the platform account are in your name from the first day, and you get the logins and the files at handover.
Can you redesign the site we already have?
Yes. We redesign a site on the platform it already runs on, or move it when the platform is what holds it back.
Do you build websites in Arabic?
Yes. We design bilingual sites in English and Arabic, with the Arabic pages laid out right to left rather than mirrored at the end.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the platform, the number of pages and what the site has to do. Send us the brief and we agree the scope, the price and the dates in writing before anything is drawn.
Do you build online stores too?
Yes. Stores on Shopify have their own page, Shopify and e-commerce, with what a store build includes.
Send us the brief, and a link to the site you have now if there is one.
