Brew Bloom
An iced tea range built on drawing rather than photography.
A spec project. An iced tea range built on drawing rather than photography, in a botanical style that puts the fruit and the flower in the same frame and lets neither win.
Cooper Black for the name, Inter for everything with a job to do. Four flavours, each with its own colour and its own bloom: strawberry, grapefruit, lemon, peach. The can carries the full argument on its face, real tea, real fruit, no nasties, then gives the calorie count and the volume without making a claim out of either. The pattern that comes off the illustrations runs across cartons, multipacks and bottles, so a shelf of the range reads as one object instead of four competing ones. Nothing here was made for a client. It exists to test whether a drinks brand can be built entirely out of drawing, and to find where one illustration language runs out and starts needing a photograph to help it.
Concept work, not a paid engagement.
